Drew Blue Shoes has had a life-long interest in the art of magic. Having been given a magic set by his grandmother, he started learning misdirection, sleight-of-hand, and showmanship from a young age. He performed his first magic show in his family’s living room in Virginia. As a kid, Drew had always dreamed of becoming a real magician. One day, when he was 15-years-old, he was gifted a pair of magical blue shoes by his hero, The Great Shoedini! This was the big step that he needed – Drew Blue Shoes was born!
Ever since then, Drew has been sharing his magic, comedy, and even juggling wherever his blue shoes take him. Now 28-years-old, Drew still enjoys the child-like wonder that magic gives to kids and adults alike! While many magicians are pre-occupied with trickery and deception, Drew’s main focus is on having FUN – something which sets his shows apart from others. (It helps that Drew has fun at every show, too!)
Drew Blue Shoes got his start performing around Washington D.C., but now performs all across the United States & Canada. Drew performs hundreds of shows every year, entertaining at parties, schools, summer camps, festivals, all sorts of holiday celebrations, and now virtually on Zoom! Drew ties together unique magic with his quick wit to create a magical experience like no other! Drew even customizes magic tricks to fit the occasion you’re celebrating – meaning that no two s̶h̶o̶e̶s̶ shows are alike!
At every Blue Shoes magic show, you can expect eye-popping magic, side-splitting surprises, and comedy that will have kids in stitches! In fact, it’s best to have carpeted floors as kids will be rolling on them laughing! Most of Drew’s magical feats require the help of a volunteer – this is where the unpredictabilities and Kodak moments start! At birthday parties, the birthday child will assist Drew with a customized grand finale to celebrate their big day and turn them into the star of the show!
